Memorial Day Celebration

All weekend, we’ll be honoring all those who have made great sacrifices while serving in our country’s military. Each day, we’ll have live music, wine, and food specials. All active duty and veterans receive a 30% discount. On Memorial Day, Focus Marines will be joining us as we continue the festivities with a Color Guard ceremony and a guest speaker. This will be both a fun and meaningful way to kick off the unofficial start of summer!

PAT LISTON hails from St. Louis and was one of the founders of Mama's Pride. His Original American Rock, can go from a heart felt ballad to full on rock and all points in-between. You just never know what he going to play next, but rest assured you will enjoy his original musings.

The Pat Liston Project comprises three members of Mama's Pride along with a few other special musicians. They will be covering staples from Pat's songbook and select hits from the 60's and 70's.

Brad Cunningham Band

The Brad Cunningham Band is on a mission to share the gospel of Texas Country Music with the Northland.  They may call Missouri home but the sound they make comes from a little further south where storytelling, soul & screaming guitars sit down for a nice steak dinner with an electric fiddle, a bouncing bass line and a steady train beat. 

Front man and songwriter Brad Cunningham was introduced to the music of Pat Green & Robert Earl Keen, Jr. while studying at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. When life brought him back to Missouri he knew he had to share the sound he'd heard so he started a band called Man in the Ring.  That band has been burning up Missouri's highways for going on 7 years now, admittedly sounding a little more like a rock band with attention deficit than a country band.  Say what you will about it, its gotten them opening spots for Jason Boland, Pat Green, Billy Joe Shaver, Stoney LaRue, Wade Bowen, Zane Williams, Mike & the Moonpies, Corey Smith, & Dwight Yoakam just to name a few.

This spring/summer series will feature Kathy Kessler of Halcyon Spa & Dede Schreiner of I AM Yoga. They invite you to "Yoga on the Ridge," along with the assistance of Mellisa Scaccia and Teresa Waddington. The team of yoga instructors collaborates to bring you a mindful yoga practice each month with a new theme. Together, they will create a unique experience to enhance your physical, mental and spiritual yoga practice. Kathy, Dede and/or Mellisa will each lead a portion of the practices, while the other instructors share hands-on adjustments and nurturing touch. Gather your friends, family or simply come alone and join in the fellowship of yoga, followed by lunch with one another and an optional nature hike of the grounds.

Each Friday evening in April, we'll be hosting casual candlelit suppers by our cozy fireplaces and outside on our spacious deck (weather permitting)

A Taste of Defiance Ridge Wine Dinner

Our Grand Opening festivities continue into the evening with a casual dinner that features different food stations highlighting new signature menu items and wines. We want you to experience a genuine "taste" of Defiance Ridge that embraces a love of community, family and friends. The evening begins with a video of our journey to date and culminates in a celebratory fireworks display

  • $60 per person (excluding tax and gratuity)
  • 20% discount for Wine Club Members

Tommy Halloran's Guerrilla Swing

Tommy Halloran performs over 300 shows per year, playing everywhere from airports and smokey clubs to historic theaters and grand outdoor festivals.  His music is a gumbo of jazz, blues, bossa nova, folk, and rock n' roll.  

Tommy Halloran's Guerrilla Swing was voted "Best Jazz Band" in the River Front Times Music Awards in 2014, 2015, and 2016, and was named St. Louis' "Best Band" by that paper's editorial staff in 2014.

With great excitement, we are opening our doors to our newly remodeled tasting room and we're anxious to share our vision of Defiance Ridge with you!

The day's festivities include:

  • Tours of the venue at 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM
  • A complimentary glass of sparkling wine
  • Complimentary tastings of select new menu items
  • Live music by Tommy Halloran's Guerrilla Swing from 1-4 PM
  • Defiance Ridge raffle basket
