Every member of the band is so amazingly talented, skilled and versatile, it allows us to play a wide range of music, from cocktail and dinner music to the fun and high energy dance music, the great dance hits of the 50's and 60's, Classic Rock and Motown, 70's and 80's Disco and Rock.....not to mention 90's dance tunes, Island music, Country, Jazz Standards, and even current hits!!! And.....we love to interact with the audience!"

King Benny is a Blues/Rock based band out of a small river town by the Mississippi River called Louisiana, Missouri. The band blends influences of Delta Blues of the 1920s and 30s with the Electrified Blues and Folk Music of the 1960s, as well as rock and roll from the 70s to form their sound.  Their original music prompted Original 1969 Woodstock

co-creator, Artie Kornfeld to call them "A Bluesier version of The Band".

Terry Jones Rogers & Scott Nienhaus have been performing together since meeting in Nashville,TN in 1993, when Terry invited Scott to join the newly formed group, The Byrds Celebration, along with Byrds alumni Skip Battin and Gene Parsons.  Both Terry and Scott had storied pasts when they began their long career working together; Terry's Macon,GA roots, recording at famed Capricorn Records Studio with The Pound & Rogers Band and touring the world fronting The Byrds with Michael Clarke; and Scott's St. Louis,MO roots with his band, Blueberry Hill Records recording artists Acousticity, and touring the world with The Nicolette Larson Band. Now based out of the St. Louis Metro area, ROGERS & NIENHAUS have become local favorites with their fiery performances and flawless harmonies, as well as performing national and international engagements.
